For me the story started here because it was the earliest i could find.The story of Aspen is so complex but what intrigues me about her is that how eventually (not in this one),its the blues versus the humans.Aspen was part of a underwater civalization and killian ruined Aspens future which caused Aspen to loose her memory.Rescued by Matthews and brought up in a human world.She tried for the olympics but was kicked out when she won a contest by 33 seconds.Thus became a marine bioligist.eventually she finds her way home but what made time stand still for me was when the blacks(god-like race)came to the surface and approached Aspen.great comic highly recommend it.
