The army has begun the attack on the underworld city called Saba. Saba is one of the cities that the Blue inhabit. Under the order of Admiral Maylander, they deemed the Blue were too big of a threat to be left alone, so therefore the army will try and destroy them. Cannon is currently at the main city, Muria. He finds out the council had already received a distress call, but won't answer it. Cannon, enraged, decides to go to Saba to help along with Kiani and a couple other Blues. They arrive to see a massive amount of destruction already done to the city. Meanwhile, Aspen has awoken to find herself in a mysterious place, and wearing strange armor. She sees guards around the area but realizes they are not doing anything. Aspen finally finds someone she recognizes, Casque.

    Poseidon Shrugged

Really, I only reviewed a Fathom comic because it was what everyone else was doing. Anyway, I must right away say, that the art in this comic and in this series in general is AMAZING! Really, this is some of the best art I have ever seen but was no surprise to me, I always expect perfection when I read a Fathom comic, but that's just in art.

This issue loses some points to me, as the story did not peak my interest, a story of the destruction of an entire city could be good except all we get to see is the people out to save the city, and their is also a lot of describing of the characters in the comic, so it provides for lessened actual story.

However, things got really good for me near the end when the story shifted from Cannon to my favorite character in the Fathoms series, Aspen! She speaks of trying to learn of her past, and with the way things unfolded, I'm expecting a really awesome past involving those she never expected to belong to. And for that reason, I'm excited to read issue two.
