Fastball can pitch anything with deadly skill, accuracy and power. He was a threat to the Justice League and usually teamed up with other powerful villians.

John was a former baseball player to whom the Overmaster gave equipment and drafted into the first Cadre. After they were defeated, Fastball went underground and was largely forgotten. He eventually returned to crime and joined the new Cadre under Doctor Polaris but was defeated by the Power Company. He was later killed by an OMAC unit.

Fastball has been identified as one of the deceased entombed below the Hall of Justice .


Powers and abilities

Fastball was given an powerful exoskeleton that has the abilitiy to throw explosive spheres.


In other media

Fastball appears in JLU along side Black Mass, Crowbar, and Shatterfist. He later appears as a member of the Secret Society, siding with Grodd's faction during the mutiny, he was presumed killed in Darkseid's explosion of the base.
