Well, I saw it today and I generally liked it until the final act. They did it, they made the big purple guy into a cloud. Story said we'd be impressed. I wasn't. Takes more than a $%^&*&^%$%^&%&$ing cloud Tim. To add insult to injury, their were vague hints of his comic book form like this:

Other than that, I liked it. The Surfer was awesome (pretty sure his voice changed since the trailer) and the FF4 were all good. They started to gel together a bit which helped.

A cloud...ugh my soul hurts.

I thought the cloud looked cool, but they should've macde the cloud into a humanoid form. An the first time I heard the Suerfer's voice, I'm like, it's deeper than the trailer.

At some points I was actually like feeling bad for Johnny not being able to touch people and like Sue having her wedding ruined again and again.

When I saw the cloud, I nearly cried because I was looking foward to Galactus. I really liked comedy in the movie and it has certainly improved from the first film.

Ok, it wouldn't have made sense for a 200 foot blue guy wearing a purple hat to come up and hook all of his complicated equipment to the planet, and suck the life force from it. None of the non-fanboys would've understood it, thus they wouldn't have made enough profit for the movie to be a success.

It's not that complicated, it would have required 30 seconds exposition from the Surfer.

I loved the way the FF4 interacted with each other. In many ways this was much improved on the first one (which I also liked). There were lots of things I enjoyed, the humour, the action.... it was a shame it was ruined by that stupid cloud.
