An intrepid group of astronauts: Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm originally received their powers after being exposed to an immense amount of cosmic radiation during a trip into space. Mutated and given strange powers by this exposure, they became the Fantastic Four and dedicated their abilities to the good of humanity.
The fact that the Fantastic Four are not exactly human (or mutant) and their son Franklin is a mutant, shouldn't they have garner the attention of X-Men enemies? The human extemist groups should fear and hate them for the same reasons and Franklin being such a powerful mutant would attract mutants/non-mutants for his power. I could see people/creatures like Bastion, Apocalypes, Master Mold, Mr. Sinister, Shadow King, and etc wanting to control or kill him. They also share some common allies and enemies in space.
FF aren't really super heroes though. They aren't going out purposely to fight people, they're more like explorers and investigators who end up fighting bad guys. Does Franklin have his powers again? People tend to ignore reality warpers for some reason. Have many people gone after Scarlet Witch for her powers or Jamie Braddock?
@VanTesla: mutant-haters tend to forget about the mutants outside the X-Men community. Nobody ever saw Sentinels chasing after Ricochet or Molly Hayes.

So true, also are Franklin's powers public knowledge? I mean its not like he's out there changing reality all day or has a tail or horns growing from his face.
