Spoilers
=======
Out of curiosity I decided to get my hands on a copy of Fantastic Four #553. The cover is by Micheal Turner, and the seemingly new look of the FF4 intrigued me.
Basically Doom has come back from seventy five years in the future, to stop Reed Richards, who Doom explains will become a tyrant and bring only destruction to the world.
The arrival of the future (and cooler in my opinion) FF4, creates the good o'l fashioned, who's lying? A two year old can figure out that Doom is, but of course the worlds greatest mind cant figure it out before both current and future teams collide in a battle that I can only describe as, lasting three panels.
(although the splash page is tight)
Current Johnny is as annoying as ever, while future Johnny is not only more powerful, he spares us the un-witty banter.
In the end, after subduing Doom (with relative ease) it turns out that he was full of $#@!. Why you ask? Cause in his future Reed has created paradise, and Doom wanted to be the one to do it. Wait what? Thats it? That was the great Dr. Dooms plan? Anyway, I'm curious to hear what other people think.
