In 2015, not only are we getting Avengers, Ant-Man, Justice League, and Star Wars, but now we're getting the Fantastic Four as well.
I'm convinced that 2015 is the year of the nerdgasm.
Team » Fantastic Four appears in 3742 issues.

As long as the movie is not as bad as the first two, I'm cool with it :P
I sure do hope it will be better than the previous two.
Could be an interesting year or a devastating one.
@Mercy_: Directed by Joel Schumacher.
@Mercy_: Invisible nipple studs.
I have confidence in this one.
For one thing, it's a reboot. Secondly, Josh Trank is a good director; Chronicle was awesome. Next, you have Millar overseeing the script, and from what I understand (I plan to buy it after the holidays), his FF run was pretty decent.
So I wouldn't worry too much. Unless they do the same mistakes twice and have someone as terrible as Alba playing a strong role like Sue, make Galactus a cloud, and BS not Dr. Doom, we should be alright. And I know Millar wouldn't do any of those things. Well, possibly the cloud thing, but he'd at least explain it. Dude's good at what he does.
Then again... He did do the Ultimate FF, and he gave Doom goat legs... No. Trank wouldn't allow that. I have to keep faith, here.
@Mercy_: Because people expect it!
I really think FF could be a major franchise is Marvel still had direct control of it, there are so many ways to tie them into the the MCU (Guardians of the Galaxy cameo anyone?). Sadly it is still in the hands of of chumps at Fox so I'll have to wait and see what talent they get to surround it with.
It's not like they could do worse than Jessica Alba as Sue Storm...or pretty much just about everything in the movie.

These are pretty right.
This would make sense if Marvel owned the rights....
FOX should just give it up and hand over the rights to Marvel, imo. Same with Sony and Spidey. Oh and fox with their copyright over 'mutants'...rme
Actually, as of right now, I think Spider-Man is unofficially in the MCU.
I really hope they go for the Ultimate version. Just don't give Doom superpowers this time.
If it was up to me, which of course it's not, I would 3D animate it based on Jack Kirby style. Brad Bird (Iron Giant) would direct it. Steven Muffat (Doctor Who) would write it.
Fantastic Four is one of those weird properties that I'm just not sure fits in the live-action movie realm. Seems to me like Incredibles was the movie that should have been Fantastic Four.
