The other name mentioned is that of Christian Cooke (ROMEO AND JULIET) who is said to have tested for Ben Grimm/The Thing, which is probably a better fit than the aforementioned Josh Gad.

Looks like we still have hope of getting a good cast for this film.

Oh, GOD. Victoria Von Doom... And no, I'm not saying 'Oh GOD' because they might be changing Victor's gender.

I'm saying that because set aside how you feel about it happening, and actually try to IMAGINE Doctor Doom as a woman.

Aside from that: I wish they'd bring Michael Chiklis back for Thing. I know it wouldn't really fit with the age range they're planning on, but he really was excited about that role. Introduced himself to Stan Lee as Ben Grimm, and had them turn him into the Thing via makeup instead of CG, as was planned. When a dude brings that much to the character, loves him that much, regardless of how the actual MOVIE is, I want them brought back.

At this point, with all the rumors and confirmations, this movie is just laughable.

For a second I thought this thread was about religious food, like could Ben make Christian food because he's Jewish or something.
