Today, the official Fantastic Four Twitter page released a poster for the upcoming reboot, hitting theaters on August 7, 2015. Here, we have all four members of the team, Thing, Human Torch, Mr Fantastic, and Invisible Woman, looking at something pretty sinister. Each of the characters, aside from Reed, is showing off their powers in one way or another, and wait, is Thing not wearing any pants?

The poster is one of the final shots of the trailer, so technically, this really isn't offering anything new to the public, but it does put a lot of emphasis on the light coming from the sky, which was at the end of the recent trailer.

It's no secret that the marketing for this August's Fantastic Four reboot has been a bit head-scratching. The lack of information and images coming from this movie is puzzling, especially when there's other projects coming out much farther down the line with a whole lot more information about them. There has been the trailer so far and this poster but it doesn't seem like this summer blockbuster (opening in late summer) is being marketed as one.

Back in January, fans did get a look at the trailer which put some fans at ease since it makes this feel more like a sci-fi film than anything else. However, trailers can be deceiving.

I'm not very happy with this movie at all. Really dislike what they did with Doom. When I heard they were making a new FF movie I was excited, then I heard all the changes and started to not like this. Might watch it if it comes on the TV or Netflix.

I don't know what it is about this movie but I'm really excited about it.

Since this is a film that was only made to maintain the rights, so I can't see this being any good

Nothing new, but it is a cool looking poster. About Ben being naked, I'm assuming that this is right after they get their powers in the Negative Zone and he busted out of his containment suit.

I still have faith that this will be a decent movie. Most of the negative things about this movie have been rumors. The substantiated ones are the ones coming from the actors like the Doom change or the fact that the actors were told to not read the books. Since they are leaning on the Ultimate U, I'm guessing that they will use the Doom origin as well where he is at the foundation with the team as a computer expert and eventually rises to the monarch we all know and love.

This is still the movie that I am most excited for in 2015. There is just as much of a chance that I will hate the movie as I will love it. That's exciting to me. I am really looking forward to AoU, but I feel like I know what to expect from that. I have no idea how FF is going to go, and that is exciting. Really looking forward to August 7th.

Yeah...I'm probably going to pass not that the first Fantastic Four film was great or anything but this kind of looks boring. I don't think I'll even watch it when it's out of theaters. I hope it's amazing and I have to eat my words but I kinda doubt it.

I like that this movie has been secretive. Sometimes movies give away too much in trailers and posters. There's a fantastic four movie with these actors, that's all we technically need to know. The rest will be a surprise which is kind of nice IMO.

Still looks better than ant Man.

My interpretation as to why the Fantastic Four film is this way:

1. Doctor Doom being a blogger - he launched a green and robot themed Tumblr page that met with millions of likes, but then Hipsters came into the Tumblr scene and put him out of a job.

2. Human Torch being black - initially white but then his powers gave him an extremely rare type of tan that turned his skin and features into those of an attractive black guy, like yours truly :D

3. Thing being naked - during a Fantastic Four themed challenge, contestants of Project Runway clearly weren't capable of creating a pair of durable, form-fitting pants for him.

Honestly, I need to see another trailer before I make my final verdict. But for now, I can say that The Thing looks OK...ish.

I like the poster. I very much enjoyed the first volume of Ultimate Fantastic Four. If they borrow heavily from that then I could get into it. Wonder if Annihilus will appear as the film's big bad.

I'm just not feeling it, I was optimistic it until the Doom stuff, and it's just... that's not Doom at all.

Ten the trailers and posters start coming out and they're just so... generic.

I'm waiting for this to do something that seems original or interesting in any way, sick of looking on my shelf, seeing cool Blade, Captain America, Spider-Man etc movies and then two sh*tty FF films.
