It was his job to re imagine the team for a new generation, and many people agree that his run on the Fantastic Four for this time period was the most memorable of the books coming out at the time under the \"Heroes Reborn\" imprint.

John Byrne

He had the second most memorable run in the Fantastic Four series, overshadowed only by the King and the Man, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. Byrne brought super-science into the realm of believability. He also helped to shape the characters of the major entities of the universe such as Galactus and Death. He breathed new villainy into Doctor Doom and let us peek into his nests contingencies, and showed extraterrestrial races as societies. His most significant contribution was giving power to women characters by embellishing the Invisible Woman and bringing on the She-Hulk.

Stan Lee, along with Jack Kirby made history together when they introduced four people who went on a spaceship to outerspace and were then bombarded by cosmic energy which converted them to the superhero team, the Fantastic Four. He is a legend, and the creator of many notable and iconic heroes. But it was the Fantastic Four which began the comic empire we know now as Marvel.
