Beware The Hidden Land! last edited by YoinkyBoyo on 08/10/20 01:36AM View full history

The Fantastic Four meet up with Black Bolt in this issue and have discovered a way to track down the Inhumans!

Reed and Sue help Triton back on his feet while Ben and Johnny go after the Dragon Man. Meanwhile back at the Great Refuge, Black Bolt has returned to reclaim the crown taken from him by his brother, the troubled Maximus, who has been running the Great Refuge like a latter-day Prince John during King Richard's absence.

The Fantastic Four have found a way to track where the Inhumans have disappeared, soon showing up in the Hidden Land (much to Crystal's delight). Before another fight can start between the two groups, Black Bolt lets them know that if they depart immediately, there will be no ill will. Before they leave, Reed wants Black Bolt to see that they cannot stay hidden forever, and are welcome to live among the humans.

Meanwhile, in the dark dungeons of the palace, Maximus has secret plans of his own!

Something Inhuman Came This Way 0

Although they first appeared in backup stories in Thor, the story arc which really introduced the Inhumans to the Marvel Universe began in Fantatic Four 44, and continues here in Fantastic Four 47. Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman try to rescue Triton who lies dying out of water, which leaves Human Torch and Thing to tackle Dragon Man who's running amok in the heart of New York City.Reed and Sue do manage to save Triton's life - but only by turning him over to the Seeker who takes him prisoner ...
