    When the Fantastic Four learn of some Skrull treachery, they navigate their way to the Skrulls base of operations. But what is the hyperwave bomb and is it too much for the FF? Guest-starring the Avengers!

The Skrull Empire has fallen into chaos after the destruction of its Throneworld in Fantastic Four 257. Now rouge governors throughout the universe are trying to take control of the scattered empire! And to that end a skrull disguised as Infant Terrible travels to Earth and begs the FF for help in saving his home planet! Reed sees through the subterfuge, but goes along with the ruse in order to stop this outlaw Skrull operation! With the element of surprise on their side, the FF quickly defeat the Skrulls, but inadvertently stumble into another Skrull operation...and then stumble into the Avengers! Why are Earth's Mightiest Heroes fighting on the Skrulls' power station asteroid? And what is the dastardly purpose of the Hyper-wave bomb? Cameo appearance by Jarvis. Avengers Lineup: Captain America, Black Knight, Captain Marvel, Hercules, Starfox, Firelord and the Wasp.
