    One, Singularity Sensation...

    Highly Recommended!

It is amazing how BIG this arc feels, and yet it is not a major Marvel Event. It has all the makings of the next Annihilation type event, but it packed neatly into the Fantastic Four and FF titles. Not that I am complaining, they will probably be able to get a lot more into these series than if they had to dilute the content across seven books and twenty tie-ins.

The plot progression in this story was great - it is definitely not a filler issue. We see some great things from each of the characters, supporting and primary alike. The story opens with a continuation from the last issue. It is action packed - action that is carried through to the end, where we are left with a fantastic reveal, the likes only Galactus could have felt coming.

The cover doesn't do this issue justice. While I understand they want to embrace that old "Coming of Galactus" feel, this cover makes you think it is localized to the Earth and the Avengers (ok, maybe Sue as well). In any case, his actual arrival, and means by which he arrives are worth the price of admission. It would almost have been better if they left him off the cover and let his arrival be a complete surprise.

As a quick aside, I have to mention something that stuck me in this issue - something great. I have stated before, I believe Sue to be one of the most powerful "human" characters in the Marvel Universe today. Her ability to manipulate force fields has an unending application for defense and attack. Her role in this issue, as well as her matured confidence in her abilities has really made her an awesome female super hero and role model. The days of her character being molded after "June Cleaver" are long gone - save the "cleaver" of course. ;)

The Flagship title, The Fantastic Four! The Fantastic Four and The Avengers are fighting off The Annihilation Wave. And it is a disaster, people are being killed, people are dying. Well we are not seeing this in the panels however i bet is just horrible for the people to experience. Since the Annihilation Wave is super being that exist only to destroy one another. Having Johnny Storm back is great however, with the battles going on it’s just too over whelming to enjoy. Galactus greets himself on...

      Krees,Celestials and Annihilus in a leash 0

In a big context, including all the fuzz and plot going on in FF #13, this issue has it's importance, but if you look at it as a single story, detached of the previous issues, it's just a plain (and used) story about aliens invading Earth (again) - the Krees were jealous of the Skrulls, so they're proving they can do it too - jokes apart, I still believe that with all that's happening with the Fantastic Four, Hickman didn't allowed them to reconnect with Johny Storm yet, it's like a big white el...
