    FANTASTIC FOUR #582

Another great issue by Hickman and Edwards! In the beginning of this comic we have a college age Reed Richards, Ben Grim, and Victor Von Doom along with Nathanial Richards batteling an evil, alternate reality Nathanial Richards! Of all the Nathanial Richards's that ever existed these two are the last alive. ( last issue we found out that the evil Nathanial Richards killed all the others) The evil Nathan gives the four a hell of a fight, but in the end he gets his head smashed in by the young Victor Von Doom! Leaving only one Nathanial Richards left alive through out all the multiverse. I love the scene where Doom kills the evil Nathan. Very nice. It just comes to show you how much of an evil dude Doom was even when he was a kid. What a screwed up guy. Also one other tidbit of info i want to remark upon, I don't want to ruin the whole issue for those who haven't read this yet, but i will say two major characters make the ultimate sacrifice for the universe in this issue. And thats all i will allow myself to say about this issue. This comic was just too amazing of a read for me to ruin the whole comic for you. Lol. This by far is the best issue of the Fantastic Four that i have ever read. I guess thats not saying much since i have only been reading this series for about 4 or 5 months. Lol. Hey, but this comic was def an awesome read. So do yourself a favor and go pick up this comic. You will not be disappointed. I promise.

Nathaniel Richards leads the nascent Fantastic Four into the conclusion of his multi-dimensional championship - - a bloody confrontation that may have disastrous consequences for the entire timeline. The Good   Wow is Hickman great with dialog. He's got a handle on Doom's voice throughout, but that scene where Nathaniel differs the dirty work to him was some piercing stuff. As if the drama couldn't even be ratcheted up enough, the "evil" Nathaniel's manic monologue about the FF cheating him out ...

The great thing about the Fantastic Four is that it's a playground for quantum mechanics. I was initially put off by the previous issue because it took me quite a while to wrap my head around the lofty idea of an imploding universe and a death match between every Nathaniel Richards that has ever existed. This issue picks up where the last one left off, but the emphasis is on the action. The old college chums, Ben, Doom, and Reed are battling alongside the main Nathaniel against another Nathaniel...
