    What happened to Reed Richards?

Ok, new writer, new artist, not the end of the world.  I love the FF and these charachters are some of my favorites.  Since John Byrne molded these charachters (at least in my mind he did), I am especially fond of Invisible Woman and love the fact that she is strong leader for the team (despite Reed being the "leader" of the team).  The team dynamic is classic, the characters well defined and the family elements that are woven in with Franklin and Valeria make it well rounded foundation to make great comics.  I love what Millar and Hitch did with the book and they were hard act to follow.  Willing to give it a chance though.  But, my God, what did they do to Reed Richards?  He looks He-Man with an even thicker neck!!  And Johnyy Storm is also huge.  The whol book looks like an ad for WWE or something.  Ridiculous. Reed is a scientist and has never, to my knowledge, been portrayed as being as big as Thor.  I was distracted with how ridiculous this looked, I couldnt really concentrate on the story.  I read it again to get past it, it was hard to do.  I really enjoy the throw back logo and the circle pictures on the cover and the art for the most part is not bad, but the depiction of Reed and Johnny is just laughable.  Silly. Please fix this Marvel if you are reading this.  Not sure if I am going to keep getting this book.  I can see a slip toward the mundane already and its really hard to follow Millar on a book.  With Marvel raising the prices on a larger portion of their books you have to pick and choose.  I may leave He-Man on the shelf next month.  Still thinking.

After reading the above review I was compelled to write a contrasting review as a fan of the Fantastic Four that didn't like Millar's run or take on Marvel's first family.  After the mess that Millar's run became I found Hickman's take on the FF to be a breath of fresh air.  From the first couple of pages you got the feeling that this isn't just another super team, it's a family, and that dynamic played through out the book.  While I'm not sure what to make of Hickman's take on the Thing yet, we...
