The Defeated by the Frightful Four wiki last edited by catfightfan on 01/18/14 10:06PM View full history

The Frightful Four return, and this time they've brought their A-game. The villains have managed to strand the FF without resources! Are the Fantastic Four truly defeated?

The Frightful Four are back, with another plan to exterminate the FF once and for all!

This time, the Wizard's plan is to kidnap the Invisible Girl and lure the rest of the team to an island where they will leave them stranded with a huge bomb set to go off!

Things start off well, with a very sexy Medusa posing as a designer to entrap Sue, then Johnny is trapped by Paste Pot Pete (now going by the name TRAPSTER), and the rest of the FF gamely follow the Frightful Four to the designated Spot, determined to free their teammates! The plan is in full effect! But as the Wizard will find out, nothing is ever written in stone!

Another terrific Frightful Four story.

This issue is one for the ages, a real Silver Age classic! Jack Kirby's art is at it's finest here and Stan Lee's story is breathtaking. Madam Medusa proves that the Wizard chose the right female to defeat Susan Storm. The red-haired villainess brilliantly lays a trap for the blonde girl, as Sue is called to a fashion house to look over some designs for her upcoming wedding. Unfortunately for the Invisible Girl, Madam Medusa is waiting for her and easily captures Sue with her invincible red hair...
