    As I mentioned in my review of the previous issue, Stan Lee’s writing was definitely improving on The Fantastic Four in late 1964. While this comic is often heralded as the start of a new age of comics with a stronger emphasis on good writing, that’s kind of relative to the rather low standards of the day.One problem in particular with the writing of these early issues of Marvel comics is pointed out in the letters column of this issue by a teenage boy who writes to complain about how Stan Lee i...
