It Should Have Stayed On Yancy Street

This issue is chock full of the kind of things that drive me nuts about Silver Age Marvel comics.

    Things like:
The Thing making lame wisecracks at wildly inappropriate times, for example when the think they're stuck on the moon forever, "And me without a pinochle deck!!" etc.
    OR
Bad and inconsistent science, for example, when Human Torch is thrown in an asbestos bag with air vents there's enough air for him to breathe, but not to use his powers... but later, he's able to use them just fine on the moon! etc.

But probably the worst part about this issue is the villain, the Communist scientist The Red Ghost and his Super Apes. Some villains are better off not being brought back, and this is definitely one of them.
