Fantastic Four #2

At the beginning of this magazine the Fantastic Four are going round causing mayhem. Or are they? Four shapeshifting Skrulls masquarade as them and commit crimes so that they can get the Four out of the way and invade earth. The Fantastic Four end up hiding away in a shack in the forest but are soon found and put in prison.

However, using their intelligence they manage to escape and they find the Skrulls who were pretending to be them. To do this, Johnny goes and sabotages a rocket launch, so that the Skrulls will think he is one of them and take him to their base. Once there, he fires a signal flare so that rest of the Fantastic Four will arrive. They manage to defeat the Skrulls and then go to stop the Skrull fleet which is above Earth.They manage to then convince the Skrull high council that Earth will be too difficult to conquer and the Skrulls leave... for now.

*note: the inker of this issue is unknown, although many believe George Klein is a likely possibility.
