Fandral

Fandral the Dashing is a charter member of the Warriors Three, a trio of Asgardian adventurers consisting of Fandral, Hogun the Grim, and Volstagg the Valiant. They are members of the supporting cast in Marvel's Thor comics and usually provide comic relief and side-adventures.

There's a new Fandral in town.

Stuart Townsend, who was originally cast to play Fandral, has pulled out of the movie for undisclosed reasons. He will instead be replaced by smaller know actor, Joshua Dallas.

Dallas has never really played anything big. He had a small part in Dr. Who.

What do you think?

I don't know anything about him. He kind of looks the part, though.

PS: I'm sorry if this is off topic, but who was officially cast as Thor?

Yeah, I think he will. Marvel is usually good with casting.

Would Fandrall have been all that big a part to begin with?

And so far, the casting in Marvel's films has been spot on, so I trust this.
