This is an eerie dreamlike issue. It is a suitable atmosphere for one that takes place within Lovecraft's Dreamlands.

Nyalathotep is still bringing forth weird impossible things, this time the Vessel of Gith. We see how he over time groomed a madman to become just such a vessel.

We finally get to see what Nyarlathotep, the Black Pharaoh looks like in his God form. Up to this point we had only really seen him as Mr. Arkham, an old man.

The Vessel of Gith is part three in this series and so far each issue has brought us a new monstrosity recruited by Nyarlathotep. I don't expect any different next issue. It will be interesting to see who or what comes next.

The main question must be asked though... why is Nyarlathotep recruiting all these things? What is really going to happen by the end of this series? Is Nyarlathotep stoppable by now?
