No seriously, Kobra
In this issue the worshippers of Kali Yuga raise Kobra from the dead. Instead they end up raising many Kobras, one of which does not like it very much. In the meantime Superman has been moving a Checkmate base that houses Kobra babies. The Kobra who did not like having Kobra competition breaks into the base to steal the infants.
I have always looked at Kobra as a third, fourth, or fifth tier villain. It looks like DC has plans to move him up the ladder a little bit. Making his true power being the number of fanatical followers he has. So whatever the big plans for him, this book serves as a cool and exciting preview for it. Even if it is "just Kobra".
