Plot Summary

Cinderella is still in the Land Of The Giants, after meeting Bigby Wolf their last issue. She is trying to build diplomatic relations. Unfortunately, the current King is sick and is planning to hand his crown to his successor, who is "proudly illiterate" so there will be little to no chance of him signing a treaty. She must go down the beanstalk into Fabletown and get real medicine to help the kings ear infection before this happens. Unfortunately, she also has to enlist the aid of frau Totenkinder, whom she knows will ask a high price for it.

    Big and Small

This issue I am sure will have some sort of pay off later. It's Cinderella trying to get the giants on their side. I am sure if they battle the Adversary the Giants will come in handy. That being said, it read and felt like pure filler. I didn't hate the issue, I just did not really like it. I think the character of Cinderella ( as used here in the series ) is not strong enough to carry a whole issue on her own. Not to mention the tone of the book seemed to not know if it wanted to be farcicle or not. Oh they can not all be winners, and this one definitely isn't.
