Evil Ash had his first appearance in the movie Army of Darkness and then in comics in Army of Darkness: Ashes 2 Ashes #3 where he yet again brought back an army of the dead to try and destroy Ash.
Evil Ash has nearly all the same characteristics as the good Ash counter-part with fighting ability and catch phrases. He's been sent through time, though the internet and even through the world of Alice and Wonderland. He'll stop at nothing to retrieve the Necronomicon and destroy Ashly J Williams.
