I always had the impression of Top Cow being an all-style-no-substance outfit, and E.V.E. Proto Mecha #2 does nothing to dispel that notion. This issue continues the non-stop action sequence where Battle Angel Alita E.V.E. continues her mission to assassinate some senator for some reason or other.Meanwhile, the female pilot of the duo from last issue lies in a hospital bed, but I really don't care - not about her, not about any of these characters. The thing is they all feel like stock character...
