War (Military Conflict) is a genre of comics that emphasizes historical fiction during a wartime setting (particularly during and after World War II). Many of the stories focus on the extreme experiences of soldiers and their combat units under the harshest of conditions.
The War fought between the Axis and the Allies. It began on July 7, 1937, when full scale war broke out between Japan and China near the Marco Polo Bridge. The war ended in September 1945 with victory to the Allies.
