So I got a kick out of Essential Ghost Rider volume 1, which was some really horrendously terrible stuff but had extreme camp value.  I was expecting more of the same from Essential Luke Cage, Power Man vol. 1 from the same time period... and am utterly dumbfounded at the quality this book had/has.  This book that I expected to be pure, shameless blaxsploitation has NO business being as good as it is.  About a third of the way through the book and it's thoroughly enjoyable.  WTF.
