    Origin

    Ernie Popchick had a hard time adjusting to modern times. He lived in New York City and was assaulted by a gang of teenage criminals. Luckily he was saved by Spider-Man, but when Ernie found out that the criminals where let go, he started taking his gun with him for defence when he entered the streets. It was then that 3 criminals tried to mug Ernie. Ernie then promptly shot the criminals. Seeing his mistake, Ernie turned himself in to the Police. Matt Murdock (Daredevil), the man whom had managed to get the teenage criminals free of the charges, now offered Ernie free help in the legal department. He was convinced that Ernie shot in self-defense.
