I don't like him. He's kinda an anti-hero character, but less of a Deadpool or Namor, and more of a jackass.

I think it (the book) is good, and he's funny (in a bad way) and him being a jackass will make it sweet when he gets what he deserves. I don't like him but I like the book.

He was in a coma throughout (what i think is) the entire World War Hulk saga. which is astoundingly stupid.
G-Man says:
"I hate to say it but the art turns me off. Maybe I'm being too picky or superficial. It's just not pretty enough for me. The idea is fine and I'm sure it's funny, but the overall idea isn't enough for me to want to throw down another three bucks."
Ditto, except for the comedy. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance, but the art just put me off. It's like a sit-com with a brilliant script and crappy actors.
i like it. i like the premise whith civil war and wwh and all this seriousness he gets stuck in the middle and doesn't take much of anything seriously. i think the book is funny and the art is very siplistic but i think it fits the premise nicely. its a refreshing change of pace to see these monumental events through this losers eyes.
I think he is an idiot, a moron, a perv, and every other word that has the same meaning. But I do think his antman armor is alot cooler then some of the other mainstream designs, c'mon the huge atachmets comming out the sides was just weird.
I am not a fan at all of the character, but the book I just couldn't put down. The character was so appalling, I just had to keep reading. Now that he is in the Initiative programe, maybe Pym will drill him hard.
Akira Overdrive says:
"What, you guys want a goody-to-shoes all the time. Its rare when a character comes along and has this type of attitude, its great."
Eric O'Grady is basically Deadpool minus the immortality. He will never be important in Marvel.

You just can't handle anything but the same kinds of heroes we've seen for years. So what if he's not "important to Marvel", doesn't stop him from being something different that people want to read about. I'm glad he's in the Initiative. I wonder if he survived KIA.
Koro says:
"I never read his comic but I read summaries on them and I think he is a very real character. I mean if you had powers wouldn't you try to use them for your own personaly gain? I know I would."i agree, we would all like to say we wouldn't but realistically i'd would most likely indulge myself before saving the world
Okay, so I finally read some of his comics and IT WAS HILARIOUS! The comics I have are really good, and he is a very real character. If only Robert Kirkman didn't hook up with the producer (Or someone he was working with cause I remember reading the back of the last issue and he said something about he could work with that person and continue the series) then the series would have continued.

THANK YOU!
Anyway, I love the new Ant-Man.
He's part of the whole reason I'm reading Avengers: The Initiave.

Same here.
if you are talking about the one of the initiative......
it's way better than the original or Scott Lang (that was his name?)
some of you really don't recognise the new Peter Parker for this new millenium when they see him. : P
Eric O'Grady is the best character Marvel has to offer.
He bravely entered fights with Dragon Man and the Hulk he saved a young girl during the first fight of the new formed Mighty Avengers.
Eric is: a Lover, a Fighter, a Peeping Tom, a Heartbreaker and a true HERO.
and back in the days (before newsarama got restarted) the Irredeemable Ant-Man thread was the longest thread of the whole 'rama community.
