    After four years of study at the École Supérieure d'Art Graphique in Paris (ESAG), he began his professional career in 1977 at the age of 21 in the monthly mechanical sports comic book Plein Pot, in the company of Christian Debarre. (Bar2), Christian Rossi and Brice Goepfert. Having become a kind of "draughtsman-reporter", Arnoux collaborated with the newspaper of which he was deputy editor-in-chief for a time, putting in images the Moto Grands Prix of the Continental Circus on which he went for two full seasons (1978-1979). . In 1983 or 84, Eric Arnoux was contacted by Alain Gout, publisher of the Signe de Piste collection to adapt the novels of Prince Eric by Serge Dalens into comics for a project by Lombard editions. He then produced a color test page, a cover project and a miniature for the fourth. In 1992, Arnoux created Sophaletta solo in Glénat's "Character" collection, of which he produced the first three volumes alone, before entrusting the design to Dominique Hé for a new cycle starting with volume 4.     In 1998, he wrote a contemporary thriller Celadon Run for the detective collection “Bulle Noire” (4 volumes) then launched Witness 4 (3 volumes) a series of anticipation drawn by the Grenoblois Chrys Millien, for Soleil Productions. At the same time, Arnoux took over five albums, at the request of Kraehn, the scenario of the medieval series of Decapitated Eagles then drawn by Michel Pierret then he became a national comics consultant between 2000 and 2009 for the Caisse d'épargne, partner of the Festival d 'Angouleme. In 2002, The Last Fairy of the Pays d'Arvor followed, a medieval heroic fantasy story published by Glénat (3 volumes), drawn by Jean-Marie Michaud. In October 2007, Arnoux participated in the collective Les chansons de Johnny Hallyday, the first volume of which was published by Soleil productions and in November 2008, still for the same publisher, he produced five pages based on a screenplay by Serge Le Tendre in the memoir book Paroles d star devoted to Jewish children hidden during the Second World War. In November 2008, he scripted the two volumes of the Ava Dream diptych with Alain Queireix drawing at Le Lombard. In 2010, he began for Casterman-Jungle editions and in graphic collaboration with Chrys Millien the Poker Face series, created by screenwriter Jean-Louis Fonteneau. The first volume, Bad Beat, appeared in June 2011, the second, La Main du mort, in January 2012. In February 2012, after having proposed a script project with the cartoonist Morancho on a crowdfunding platform, he undertook the creation of the Sara Lone series. The first volume, Pinky Princess, won an award for its screenplay at the Nîmes festival and the third was financed in four days.
