More blood than a Tarantino flick
Attention: the main character in this book has got the moves (all of them)!! Do not read this book if you're one of those people that goes to see an action movie of Bruce Willis and leaves the premises saying: "No way he could've thrown that hellicopter in the police car!". Imagine this book like a mix of Punisher meets Kill Bill after taking some lessons from Neo of Matrix and Mr. Miyagi. This book isn't epic only in it's name, it's epic in action!! Think you saw action in Mark Millar's Nemesis? Think again, this book has at least the double of action scenes of the average comics being put in shelves every wednesday. Not only it's a creator owned story, this was epic too because the writer/penciler/colorist/letterer are combined in one single person, Signore Raffaelle Ienco, who, in holding all the creative process to himself, delivered a great story about revenge, dedication, thrill, bloodshed and a certain political flavor to spice things up. This book will also please the Deadpool fans, since there're some moments that remind of the merc-with-a-mouth's insanity frenzies. I really enjoyed reading these 5 issue run. the artist delivered great panels, tons of adrenalin rush scenes, he has a terrific style, that resembles a little with Mike Deodato, but lighter than his. I recommend this for fans of killing, revenge, justice and action, very good indeed!
