Replacing Deena Pilgrim, Enki Sunrise became Christian Walker's new partner under less than ideal circumstances. She was initially assigned to the job by Internal Affairs in order to secret investigate him and Pilgrim. This case was quickly dropped by Internal Affairs, and Sunrise became Walker's partner on a permanent basis. However, the circumstances that brought them together made their relationship particularly tense. Sunrise has also continued to lie to Walker, because she is still secretly looking for evidence that he is a Power.
