Enchantress is an Asgardian god. She has vast magical powers, and has been both an ally and an enemy to Thor than often the latter. She is skilled at seduction through supernatural means Edit
History
Amora was born in Asgard, and began to harness magic as an apprentice of Karnilla, but was banished and decided she would harvest magic on her own. She learned by seducing others using magic and learning there secrets. In time Amora became one of the powerful magic-wielders in Asgard, using her mind-controlling powers and charm.
Amora's first encounter with Thor left her love-struck and she decided she would destroy Thor's love interest so that he could be all hers.
Enchantress was at once accompanied by a minon of her's named Skurge who was madly in love with her, but Amora seemingly took advantage of him and used him, claming he was her muscle.
Later, Amora and the Skurge were banished to earth, where they became members of the 'Masters of Evil'.
With Skurge's help once again they tormented 'Jane Foster' on Loki's command.
Enchantress has been shown to be among the list of many who is able to give someone there powers back, she has performed this many times...once giving 'Power Man' his powers.
Once Amora posed as Valkyrie and attempted to fight the Defenders with her team of Lady Liberators, but was unsucessful.
Amora joined in the battle against Surtur, and the gods of Asgard defeated him proficiently. After the death of Skurge Amora appealed to doing good as well as doing bad (just as Catwoman does). Later, Amora refused to give her life for her sister Lorelei and her sister perished. Lorelei tried to make amends with Skurge, but he harshly rejected and she used her powers to have Brute Benhurst serve as the Executioner.
She aided Thor in helping get his father Odin back on his throne, and during so an intimate attraction begins to stir between Amora and
Heimdall, but she rejects him, claiming that he wanted to be married and she did not.Later, Thor was banished to earth by Odin and depowered, this ended with him forming an alliance with Amora. They both lived together as lovers.
Powers
Amora is an Asgardian which grants her superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and durability. She can manipulate ambient magical energy for a variety of effects. She has used her sorcery to enhance her natural beauty and allure, and to enchant her lips so that she by kissing virtually any man she can make him her slave. She can also use her magic to heal any of her injuries rapidly.
The Enchantress has a gifted intellect, and possesses extensive knowledge of Asgardian mystic and amatory arts. She has received extensive training in sorcery by Karnilla and various Asgardian mages and wizards.
