It's hard to believe Star Wars: The Clone Wars is about to start its fifth season. I still remember seeing the pilot/movie in theaters. The show has started getting a little darker and as it heads towards the end, we all know it's going to get even darker.

The shadow of the dark side falls upon Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season Five as the series moves closer to the events of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. Some characters will meet their destinies over the course of the hit show’s upcoming fifth season.

The question is: Who Will Fall?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season Five premieres on Saturday, September 29, at 9:30am on Cartoon Network.

So not pumped for the new timeslot. Ugh.

The timeslot is fine and may money on Ahsoka Tano, Savage Opress and Darth Maul biting the dust.

asking these kind of questions bears little meaning since we know how the clone wars played out.

I'd bet Satine dies, and Savage Opress.

I'm willing to bet Rex stays alive up till Order 66, is serving with Ashoka at the time and actually ignores the order, fighting clones with Ashoka.

I'm 21 and i'm still in that 'get up early on Saturday morning' mode.

At the age of 20 getting up early Saturday morning is a tradition for me, and its worth it

@G-Man: thats what the books are for. and comics and games.

If the time slot is a problem all of the episodes are on starwars.com the next day for a week or two.

I bet Darth Maul and Savage Opress die, personally I hope Ahsoka figures out some way to survive, while not my favorite at first, over the course of the show, she has grown on me; Asajj I can go either way, I hope she survives, because she was pretty awesome in the original Clone Wars show, but if she doesn't, oh well.

The Friday night time slot never worked for me. I always (and still will) DVR it. This time slot actually works better for me and my daughter.

Hopefully it'll be Ahsoka. That way the Revenge of the Sith would make a tad more sense than it does atm.

@G-Man: They have moved a lot of Friday night cartoons to the early Saturday morning. Cartoonetwork just has too many shows on their hands.

I think we know the answer is all of them.

We can't get rid of Asajj Ventress fast enough.

Ventress already has a definitive end... so they shouldn't kill her. But, Savage Opress, Maul and Ahsoka should all go die., Preferably sooner rather than later.

Hope they kill ashoka off.

It would be awesome to see Sidious kill all of them,though that wont happen.

Maybe all of them will die.

I've missed all of season 4 so I have a lot to catch up on. This won't be burdensome to do so by any stretch of the imagination, though. XD

Yeah i dont appreciate the new time but im very xcited. Is this the last season?

I think its gonna be Ahsoka. The last bit of Anakin's humanity keeping him from plunging to the Dark Side I believe is being mentor to her and all. Once she's gone, its the beginning of the end I believe. Love the character but I'm just calling it now. As for the others I sure can't say.

rex and anakin were buddies. he would follow skywalker anywhere without question

I can see all of those characters dying, as none of them are present at the time of Episode 3.

Perhaps, but Rex was made after episode 3. And I don't believe there's been any mention of him having betrayed the jedi in any other media. So he might die. Or he might realize what Anakin is doing is wrong like he did with Krell. Just have to wait and see.

I'm not sure I even have the time to catch up let alone watch this series but I want to so much!

I have a feeling that Asajj Ventress will survive through season V. I also think that Ahsoka has a good chance of surviving through the events of season V and that either she will meet her demise in season VI or go to the Outter Rim of the Galaxy to hide away from the Order 66. I don't want Ahsoka nor Ventress to die but seeing as Anakin doesn't mention her in episode III it would stand to reason that Ahsoka died.

@Lvenger: Yeah, I hear ya. I've got to find time to do so but once I do it'll be smooth sailing. I hope.

@TruSoul: Well Asajj does exist in the EU so you're definitely right about that. I could definitely see the rest of what you said coming to pass.

My money is on ahsoka. Her or darth maul.
