Normally when Marvel solicits something, the opposite tends to happen. Power has corrupted them both and they will obviously fight. But will it tear them apart when this event is over? Possible but not for certain given Marvel's track record.
I'll actually admit that if this event does screw over their relationship cause there I still see possibilities for a yes and no, that Emma, aside from Gillen, has been the back seat for so long it won't even be this huge major thing anymore.
