Emma & Scott have been dating for nearly 8 years now. Jean has been gone for that long to . How long do you think it will last for Emma & Scott. Not much has happen in there relationship apart from a lot of lies and distrust, how long do you think it will last and how long do you want it to last?

Not too sure how long it will last, i dont think it will end any time soon though. Sure they have had there ups and downs , but both have adapted and gotten over their problems and added new dimensions to eachother's characters. With the way the X-men is set up right now, it wont end any time soon, unless that one spoiler image for uncanny x-men with Namor and Emma is true, which i dont think it is by the look on Emma's face. The whole Emma/Namor angle has happened quite a bit in the past with misleading images, and covers but none have held true.

The problem with Jean though is she moved onto bigger things as the pheonix and with the affair they had a replacement for jean being Emma. Right now X0men doesnt need another character. And i doubt Jean coming back and having another fued would be entertaining, Cykes would just be rebounding the same 2 girls.

 Emma has since done a great job as the leading X lady and has created plenty of controversy among the readers with her relationship with Scott. The couple has had plenty to do with the X-men's popularity, i see no reason to end it and i doubt it will. It would really mess up alot of the things in the X-men series and it would disappoint alot of the readers. Considering how much controversy and popularity surrounds the couple and being apart of one of Marvel's biggest cash cows, i dont see it happening.

I really don't see their relationship ending anytime soon, and i don't hope it ends either. As much as i loved Scott and Jean being together, i'm happier seeing Scott with Emma Frost.

Like the posts above, I dont believe it will end soon, but I do believe at some point a writer will take that risk and be the one to break them up for shock value/some sort of event.

Can't see it happening soon.

Best couple in comics aren't likely to break up anytime soon, unless Marvel decides to be uber-retarded and have Cyke go evil after Schism and Emma start sleeping with the fish guy.

If Jean ever came back I think she would go to Wolverine. Cyclops and Jean died out a long time ago and he and Emma are going well. I think Emma and Scott would last a long time, they should be engaged by now lol

If Jean ever came back from the great beyond, the white hot room or wherever the hell she went its possible that Scott and Jean could reconnect. Do I think its likely, well that really depends on how lazy the writers are. Assuming Jean ever comes back that would
mean Marvel has already caved into the Fanboys so a reunion with Scott could happen. If the writers even pay some attention to the state of their relationship before she dies then they should play on the fact that their relationship was on the rocks and getting
worse. Since then Scott has been in a stable relationship with Emma and they are committed to each other and in love, though both are far too stubborn talk about their feelings much. Personally I like Scott and Emma together and I think their relationship should
continue and maybe even have children together.

I love there relationship, it's quite 'epic' in a sense and passionate.  
It's obvious when Jean comes back Scott will go back to dating her. But I kinda wish Jean would move onto someone else or Scott realise he loves Emma more.
