Emma and Namor?

Anyone pick up the new Dark Reign issue with Emma and Namor? Hubba-hubba. Actually, I think Emma and Namor make a good pair. I mean they both have a serious ego going on, they like playing cat and mouse it seems. Besides, doesn't it look like Marvel is looking to cause serious tension with Emma and Scott? Emma knows Scott is keep something from her (X-Force), and now Emma's dressing up and making deals with Namor with the expectation that the only thing he'd ask for in return is her sleeping with him. Oh yeah, and the whole Dark Reign cabal thing. That might put a really strain on a relationship.

That may be so, but he sure doesn't seem to appose crossing the species barrier with Emma.

Eh, I don't see this happening. First off she thought he smelt like a fish. And second Namor is like obsessed with Invisible Woman. I don't think that will change.

Neither Namor nor Emma are the most moralistic of characters. It could work.

Yeah, she did. But he did say something along the lines of her gracing his bed again, ie that it has happened prior. From the looks of it, in her Hellfire days.

Agreed. The part if them talking of the past, is exactly that, the past. I don't see her going through with that again.

I think Marvel is sort of planning some trouble for Emma and Scott, though. Look at World's Apart where Emma calls Storm a gigantic cow. ^.^ Emma knows Scott is lying to her, so she's POed, understandably. But, then again, she called Scott to jail up Shaw. <.< Maybe she's going for a one-nighter to mess with Namor and revenge on Scott. Doubt it, but I still stand they would make an interesting couple.

I'm sure people will blow it out of proportion as if Namor could beat him with the snap of a finger but realistically Cyclops does stand a bit of a chance.

Dark Reign issue with Emma and Namor, what a crap issue if they wanted just to show emma frost, why don't they give just her own title instead of making uncanny x-men just about emma. goes to show x-men writers are obessed with emma frost .
