Generation X Generation X, often written as Generation neXt, is a Marvel super-group that is an off-shoot of the X-Men. The team was led by Banshee and one time villan Emma Frost. Emma Frost(Mentor)-Emma Frost was the other mentor for Genearation X. She has spent most of her time as a villian, the White Queen of the uber-rich, socially elite Hellfire Club. She was part of the Inner Circle, the important members, the ones who really mattered(it even included a former Brotherhood member and supervillian, the original Mastermind). The Hellfire Club plotted world domination. She fought the X-Men with the Club, taking several prisoner. During the ensuing battle, she engaged in a psychic battle with Jean Grey(then called Phoenix). She lost, but healed. |

Hellfire Club Emma Frost rises to power in the Hellfire Club the instant she joins it, as it was she who worked alongside Sebastian Shaw to murder the Council of the Chosen. She and Shaw then reformed the Hellfire Club and created an Inner Circle, he the Black King and her the White Queen. After that the Hellfire Club goes through many reformations and leadership changes with Emma Frost no longer a member of any of the line-ups though she is often remembered as the White Queen. Quite a while later she unintentionally creates some mental of an Imaginary Inner Circle composed of Sebastian Shaw, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Cassandra Nova and a young woman called Perfection (who is revealed to be Emma herself). However, even this is eventually destroyed when it is revealed to have never existed. |
