Josh Foley (a.k. Elixir) is a mutant with biological manipulation, giving him the ability to heal people's wounds and illness, giving them illness, and manipulating other things in their bodies. Josh is a former member of the Reavers, former student at the Xavier Institute, former member of the New Mutants Squad (mentored by Dani Moonstar), and former member of the New X-Men. He is currently a member of the X-Force and living in Utopia with X-Men and other mutants.

His power is to manipulate organic material on a genetic level mainly allowing him to heal wounds. He has also used his powers in offensive ways, killing William Stryker. He also has gold skin as a result of healing himself. His skin turned pitch black when he killed Stryker, suggesting that his color and emotion changes depending on how he uses his powers.
The Reavers are a group of cyborgs that are most known for their criminal activity, and their hatred of mutants including the X-Men.
The Five are a circuit of mutants whose powers, working in tandem, can resurrect deceased mutants. They are a pillar of Krakoan society and serve as a symbol of mutant ingenuity and resilience.
