A rich yuppie vigilante who defended his neighborhood from anyone who would dare bring down the tone and property value Riverside Park.
The Elite's identity is never revealed beyond that, from his visible skin and hair and from his lifestyle, he is very much a WASP (white anglo-saxon person) and it he does speak to a child of his who is off panel right after committing a killing, sniper style, from his window.
He later joined a group called the Vigilante Squad with Mister Payback and Elite. They tried seeking out Punisher to lead them, but instead Punisher killed all three.
After The Elite's death, his son takes up his mantle and, deeming that his father's mission was right and the Punisher is wrong, sets to taking revenge upon him. In his quest for revenge he has seemingly dug up and cloned a mob of Ma Gnucci's.
