Inside the Tempel of the Sun, Savah maintains the rituals of worship for the Sun Villagers. She enters the solemn dream-world on a regular basis, but this time discovers a startling sinful presence. Suddenly, she stiffens into a comatose trance that neither Leetah nor Ahdri may allieviate. Only Suntop knows and understands. He looks past Savah's appearance and finds her spirit entangled with a vile presence. The only other discernible revelation Sun Top receives is that his father Cutter Kinseeker, will soon in person encounter the same evil that has paralyzed Savah, so that he must be warned.
