Electro assaults a science institute in Paris and the Avengers Academy respond. Mettle and the rest of his team are greeted by Electro and the Sinister Six. Electro shocks Striker and in response Mettle tries to hit him.
Originally created in the Ultimate Universe, this version of Spider-Man is a 16 year old kid named Miles Morales from Brooklyn who takes on the Spider-Man identity after Peter Parker's death. Miles discovers spider powers of his own after he was bitten by a spider 11 months before Peter's death, and uses these powers to be the best superhero he can be. Currently, Miles lives in the main Marvel Universe and is a member of the Champions.
Omega The Unknown, created by a dying alien race attempting to preserve its culture, was linked to James-Michael Starling, whom his creators had also created. Both were ultimately tragically destroyed.
The Owl hired Electro and the Vulture to secure a large payment for him. The duo decided to betray their employer and keep the money for themselves. After being defeated by Spider-Man, they were returned to the Owl for punishment. Electro was also responsible for the massive super-villain breakout at the Raft. The subsequent search for escapees and gang war between the U-Foes and Crossfire's gang resulted in an increased police/superhero presence, forcing the Owl to suspend his activities and reluctantly accept Spider-Man's offer of help.
