i don't know but something is definitly wrong with him....he would never have restarted the corps without richard's go ahead let alone pick ego as centurian
Ehhh.. I dunno man. I just haven't like the last few issues.
Reasons: 1. I don't like the idea of a new Nova Corps, because I'm selfish like Richard. 2. What's with all the c-listers they're fighting? 3. Where is this story going?

I think it's all just to pass time until the War of Kings kicks into high gear.

Yeah, you're probably right. But if that's the only reason it's been bad.. I think I may re-put this on my list.
Ego isnt even a real planet. If you can see Ant-Man stand on him them hes not even the size of the smallest city of the smallest state. You cant fight a planet. Cmon.
As it turns out Ego isn't alive anymore. That's just his body, Worldmind is in complete control now, Robbie (Nova's brother) claims that Ego willingly let Worldmind erase his mind and turned him into a mobile base for the New Nova Corps to use that everyone is now calling "Nu-Xandar." What was funny however that during Richard's conversation with The Fantastic Four (specifically The Thing) he looked directly at "us" (the readers), smiled and said "No Mr. Grimm, I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to recruit a Living Planet into their ranks."
I think we all know who Richard was dissing. It's was hilarious.
That's not really the truth, as far as I understood it anyway. Ego is alive, but his psyche was hijacked by Worldmind. If Worldmind gave up control then Ego would go back to being Ego. All of his bodily functions still exist, he's more in a vegetative state.

Oh, interesting, still don't you think it's a little odd that Ego willingly allowed Worldmind to do this to him? You'd think he'd retaliate after hearing Worldmind wanted to lobotomize him and use him as a base for people of various species whom he hates.

I agree (even though I've never read a Lantern book (I know, I know, "shame, shame")) I really liked when Nova was racing across the galaxy alone with his only companion the nagging Worldmind. I have a feeling this new corps wont last too long though.
