A great mixture of eastern mythos, classic western, disaster capitalism and biblical references. This book is a lit majors dream come true. Hickman weaves 4 elements into a tapestry that makes for a wonderful story telling. A cowboy, profit seeking capitalist, Death and grieving mother, these characters are fleshed out in simplistic but intriguing to the reader.
