    If you really like Earth-2

This will be a 5 criterion, pass or fail review, each criterion is worth one star

    Story: Fail

Basically, we find out why everyone hates Terry Sloane, and not much else. This is very important character and world building, but really, Sloane has too much internal monologue, and not enough happens to be worth a whole issue, especially since this is a one-shot.

    Art: Pass

The pencils are nothing too special, they certainly don't just feel beautiful the way Nicola Scott's do, but they're definitely not bad in any way. The colors fit the tone of the story well. Also, Mr. 8 and Batman look neat shooting guns together.

Scripting: FailSloane's monologue dominates the text, and dialogue is mostly cliched.

    Feel: Pass

The whole feel of the issue does fit the vibe I get of Earth 2, a place very different from and similar to our own, and somewhat sorrowful, but full of power and where decisions are always important.

Should You Buy This: Toss Up

If you really like Earth-2, and want to know everything about it and the characters in it, then you definitely should not pass on this. Otherwise, save your money.

THE GOOD: Tomas Giorello provides the art for this issue and why I haven't heard of him before this is beyond me. He is amazing and adds so much details into his art work that you just stare at the pages for a while. They story is interesting to see the world a little bit before everyone died. James Robinson introduces a new character that I think is going to be really cool to see in the future. This issue really focuses on the new character but it does it in a way to introduce him as a hero eve...

      The 8th Wonder 0

The Good: James robinson uses issue 0 to tell prequel story , which blow me away, also Toma's Giorello hit this issue out the park for fill in issue. I really enjoyed his mature like drawing style, it is different from the norm but its good see a aged batman, superman and wonder woman. We get to learn a lot more about Terry Solon and how he shakes up Earth -2. The dialogue was very strong in this issue, James Robinson really shows Terry Solon's point view. We also get a preview of what terry has ...
