    This comic is a reprint of the original Charlton Book.  Modern Comics Reprinted many Charlton issues page for page.  Sometimes the art is a little different sometimes even a crisper image.

    The Comic

    The comic has two stories and the first two thirds of the comic is an E-Man comic titled  The Brain and the Bomb.  The last third of the comic is a Knight story called  Operation: Rotten Apple.  Both stories are self contained complete. 

    The Brain and the Bomb

    E-man is a pure energy form curiously roaming the universe when he stumbles on a ship controlled by a large brain.  Apparently the Brain releases a gas bomb that will destroy planet earth but E-man thwarts the attempt accidentally while transforming himself into a robot slave.  The Spaceship crashes to earth where E-man finds Nova Kane and enlists her help in stopping the Bomb.
     

    Operation: Rotten Apple

    The Knight Link Chain in his crew find information that a company is involved with espionage.  Link and Marko get a job under alias for the company and work there a short time before they find out the company in completely run by spies with the exception of themselves.

    This is a reprint page for page of the Original Charlton Comic as such i posted the same review here as I did the original.  The only difference really is the art is a little different as it is processed differently.  Personal I'd rather have the original but I'll take the Modern Book over nothing.   I don't know what it is about E-man that I find interesting.  His superhero name, origin, and costume is some of the lamest work I've ever seen.   Yet I keep finding his books and reading them.  I...
