This issue was a little more reserved but I didn’t mind it because of how strong a delivery issue one was. This issue takes more time to set some things up. In the last issue, Brian Wood and Rebekah Isaacs accomplished the incredible task of getting the story set-up, re-introducing the characters, and establishing a great conflict. Here we take time to focus on the character of Bliss. This is a great story structure because it seems that Wood is going to layout each character’s motivations...1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
The rest of DV8 finds Bliss, who's become a pleasure goddess to a tribe of skull-faced Amazonians. The Good There's obviously a thousand angles to take on superheroes and I thought it was interesting to see this kind of youthful, counter-culture spin on the genre (even though I'm sure this wasn't even the most pronounced expression of it).
