Originally, a character featured in the Negative Burn anthology series, Dusty has taken on a life of her own. There have been several single DUSTY STAR issues that have been published through Caliber and then Image, from the 90's to the present, but now Robinson is in the process of producing the graphic novel. (Due to creative differences, Pruett withdrew from the project several years ago.) This book is being released as a hardcover, which combines some of what has already appeared with all new material.

The Dusty Star scenario combines elements of the classic "Spaghetti Western" with Star Wars technology and "Faster Pussycat, Kill, Kill" bad-ass broads. The artwork depicts a very lonely place, both in the Tatooine landscapes and the hearts of the characters.
