    At the beginning of the story Duke, as leader of the Mephistopheles gang, sends Lien Neville to interrupt a gathering attended by Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Athena Asamiya, Rock Howard and several others. Duke himself later arrives and takes Terry Bogard with him.
