I've noticed that a lot of the comics that Dreamwave published have been from videogames. Was that their specialty, making other media into comics?

Dreamwave died quite a while ago. IDW took a lot of it's properties. Yet IDW has not done squat with most of it. Mainly because IDW is too small to do what Dreamwave did all at once Yet this caused Dreamwave's collapse

I was kind of mad that it dreamwave went because i was enjoying the transformers armada-energon story.
